Monday Inspiration: Warm weather-prep!


Happy Monday, everyone!

As I’m sure many of you are aware of, swimsuit season is quickly approaching. With as hot as it is here in Iowa already, I’m sure that this summer will be a gazillion degrees! Time to kick the health into high gear and shed that extra winter skin!

Unfortunately, I *LOVE* sweets. So I’m sharing a few things I hope to try this spring/summer so I can still enjoy some treats – just a bit lower in calories!

Frozen yogurt dots: So simple! Just put frozen yogurt into a bag and squeeze out small dots onto a cookie sheet. Place in freezer for an hour and enjoy! This reminds me of those little ice cream dots I love – but way healthier! See full directions here. {VIA}

Kale chips: I’ll admit, these sound weird, but they’re supposedly really good. Basically pieces of kale tossed with olive oil and baked. What a good snack! Worth a try, right? Find the recipe here. {VIA}

Popsicles: I love popsicles! I found this link for 32 popsicle recipes – now I just need some molds! Isn’t it nice to know what’s in your popsicles? I hope I get a chance to make these soon! {VIA} Image {VIA}

Of course, I’ll also be keeping my new staple –
Green Monster Smoothies – to start my day. Yum!
