Happy Monday! Are you guys ready for the first ‘real’ week after the holidays? I’m not quite sure if I’m ready for it, myself. Even though I went back to work on Thursday of last week, our week was anything but normal. We had a all-company meeting & banquet on Friday, so Thursday was filled with finishing all sorts of little things for that, so it was far from a normal day in the office. Tomorrow I can hopefully get things sorted a little bit and get back to a normal routine!
I feel the same way about my after-hours life, too. With all the traveling we’ve been doing, things have been pretty nuts in our house. On top of that, getting sick on New Year’s Eve cramped my getting-things-done lifestyle as well. Although I felt well enough to go to work, it was a really crazy couple of days and I woke up Saturday feeling a little less than stellar again. On top of that, I lost my voice completely. We had an awesome dueling piano performance at the banquet. Singing loudly on a rough throat? Not my best idea, but I still think it was worth it!
Amongst all of this craziness, I’ve been doing some guest posting, and being featured on other blogs that I wanted to share with you! I hope you can take a couple minutes to take a quick read. While you’re there, check out their other posts – all of these ladies’ blogs are on my daily reading list!
Kate featured me as a ‘Fit Nut’ on Thursday, where I talked about running! Kate’s from Australia, so it’s a lot of fun to read her blog posts about life there.
I don’t remember when I first found Meghan’s blog, but it’s so much fun to read! And isn’t her header cute? I wrote a guest post for her on Friday on how to fufill your New Years’ Resolutions. Hope you find my tips useful! Now, I should probably blog my own resolutions, huh…
I ‘virtually’ met Amanda when I got serious about blogging and started researching what other bloggers were doing (AKA, creeping on everyone I could find) and coming upon a bunch of bloggers that had attended Blend Retreat. Amanda’s blog was one of the first I read! She posts a ton of different fun recipes and fitness items. My guest post is going up today about my story of being a vegetarian/pescetarian. I think it’s an interesting read!
What did you think of my posts? Wish me luck on getting back to a ‘normal’ schedule today!
