Rocking & Rolling: #NoMoreGirlyPushUps Link Up 2!
Good morning! How was your weekend? I had a lot of fun with a couple different groups of friends, but also got some great relaxation in (and a nice run!). I wanted to say thanks to you all for the helpful encouragement regarding my funk I wrote about on Friday. It was so nice to get all the support! I’m happy to report that I hit the gym hard on Friday night, and felt great afterwards. I do think that getting in that gym time has a LOT to do with me staying on a healthy schedule throughout my life, and I’m going to try to remember that – even on the weeks that I’m extra-busy (like last week!).
Today, it’s the second link-up for the No More “Girly” Push-Ups Challenge.
Like I said, gym time was at a minimum last week, but I did a couple days of the app. Doing an initial test at 20 push-ups, the app placed me at Level Three of it’s program. Working with the app, which gives you amounts of push-up sets to do (with rest in between), I’m at 50 push-ups! I didn’t think I could get up there that quickly, but I will admit, it’s fun to see results that high already. I wonder …
How many push-ups will I get to by the end?
I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know that I’m going to keep pushing myself. Maybe I’ll switch to inclined push-ups? Who knows?

I should really do this. I downloaded the app but never did my initial test. I do push-ups regularly but could most definitely use some improvement ( a lot of improvement). Count me in. I’ll do my test this morning at the gym. Have a great day!

Keep up the great work with your pushups Alex! This is my 2nd go-round with the app. The first time it started me on level 2 and then demoted me to level 1 halfway through. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to be demoted in my entire life – lol!

Glad you like it! Thanks. Haha, I didn’t know you could get demoted! But I don’t know, it’s going to get hard when I get up to the high levels of push-ups – I think I’m going to get bored with it. Might have to switch to the inclines, or something!
