Strong & Steady: #NoMoreGirlyPushUps Link Up 3

push ups square2 Strong & Steady: #NoMoreGirlyPushUps Link Up 3Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Although mine was pretty busy, having family around is always great, and I had a lot of fun. Plus, I got a great 6.4 miles in yesterday. It was supposed to be 6 miles, but I had a little trouble sticking to the pre-destined route once I got to campus (apparently I don’t know building names quite as well as I had thought!).

Today’s the third link up for the No More “Girly” Push-Ups Challenge that I’m doing with Jacki of Dare 2 Dream Dare 2 Do, Jennifer of Wine to Weightlifting! A lot of people have been asking when they can join, when they should link up, and if they even still could. My answer? Yes, yes, and yes! Link up any time during the week. And it’s completely okay to start the program this week with your test. No worries!

Last week, if you linked up you had the opportunity to win a pair of SoxBox Socks. We had two winners, Debbie, and Gina. Congrats!!

My progress has been going pretty steady. I’ve been doing my push-ups to coincide with my strength days for the most part. Which also means I’ll be doing them forever, since the plan calls for three days a week. Oh well! It’s getting tougher for sure, but I haven’t hit a point where I can’t finish.

On my last day, I did 63 push-ups.

vitacost Strong & Steady: #NoMoreGirlyPushUps Link Up 3Woohoo! Here’s to strong and steady, don’t you think?

Campus is a great place to run. Unless it is between classes. Then you just want to kill people. Just saying.

63! Holy crap that is beyond awesome. I have no arm strength and while I am working on it I have a very long way to go. You are doing so well, inspirational.
